  • A lifted nose, pure, consisting of cherries and strawberries with a hint of earth. Medium bodied, mid-intensity raspberries and cherries flavours which then transition to a savoury slight bitter twist at the end which resolves the wine nicely. Good length. Fine for the appellation.

  • Darker than expected, with a big, spicy, and fairly high-toned nose, some oak, but the oak is not new (well, 10%) and seems to be working with the wine, not against it. A bit simple, but there are plenty of burgs at this price that deliver much, much less.
