Stunning and balanced and the best wine we had on Thanksgiving day. It paired with all the breads and all other dishes whether savory or creamy or on the sweet side. It struck me as the best of both worlds, new world fruit and opulence, old world acidity concentration of texture. Long, long lemon brulee finish. My best Gary Farrell wine ever. I wonder if Theresa heredia had a hand in its crafting. (She became winemaker in 2012.)

A day tasting in the Russian River Valley, Sonoma (Russian River Valley): Bright acidity, steely cut. Nice broadness. Very clean and crisp. Very good.
