Mild, watery flavor. Tastes lower in alcohol than it actually is. Generic white--useful if you're bringing the wine and don't know what's being served (and the label is cute). Releases alcohol slowly when cooked with. Good in a light veggie stock--the long time gives it the time necessary to concentrate the flavor. Doesn't pick up other flavors very easily--performed okay when used to extract tarragon for a sauce base.
