BORDEAUX 2005 / Cabernet rules; 4/5/2006-4/10/2006 (Bordeaux): This was like some of the other St. Estephes I tasted blind, a bit hard and tannic with a nose that was somewhat off putting (nail polish). Also alcoholic. 84-85
2005 Bordeaux en Primeur; 3/26/2006-3/28/2006 (Bordeaux France): En Primeur tasting. Powerful fruit, equally powerful structure. Less fun or forward vs Pagodes, but probably more cellarworthy. Also 87-89 point potential, but 2015+ forward.
