Very nice showing. Best on day 2. Initially had a great deal of olive and brine that blew off to reveal a rather pretty left bank red with cassis and old library. Still fruit and plenty of tertiary development. Nice wine, and a sound bottle through Winebid

This drank well with empanadas. Typical Bordeaux with ash, leather, tobacco, cured cedar and cassis. Supple, round and silky. Decent length. So long Chuchus!

Had against Les Grandes Murailles from the same vintage. This was lighter, a bit more elegant and even though it lacked substance and complexity, it was still enjoyable. PAIRING: Skirt steak and chimichurri at La Cabaña Argentina.

Tasted total blind at a sommelier seminar. No question this was Bordeaux. This is drinking beautifully and exhibits perfect balance and harmony on nose and palate. This is everything you want in an aged Bordeaux.

Cigar box and vanilla on the nose. Then cherries / red fruit, followed by a long buttery finish. Slighly lighter than anticipated.
