Slo-oxed for 10 minutes. A golden yellow color. The nose was reticent but did yield touches of oak and citrus. The medium to plus palate showed lots of lemon and oak spice, some stone fruit, and touches of minerality. The acidity was juicy and seemed to outrun the fruit. Not sure how this wine will hold. Overall, this wine was over-oaked and not the kind of Chardonnay that we prefer.

Medium golden yellow with glints of green. Aromas of lemon and butterscotch with hints of honey. Lemon and wet stone are evident on the palate leading to a long, mineral finish. Medium in body with good acid for Chardonnay and 13.3% alcohol. Sourced from a dry farmed estate vineyard on a south facing slope at 600-680 feet of elevation planted mostly to Dijon clones in Jory soil fermented and aged on the lees in French oak. Drinks like a white Burgundy. $75.

Drank like an over oaked California chard, lots of oak and butter. Decent fruit but really not my style and disappointing for a wine in this price range.

Oak dominated this light bodied chard. Citrus and minerality are on display. I'm sure this wine will improve with time but I can't imagine it has what it takes to live up to the price tag.
