NOSE: smells aged; light butterscotch; otherwise smells exactly like I'd expect an aged Chardonnay to smell.
BODY: golden yellow color of great depth; medium bodied.
TASTE: lemon; medium mineral note; tastes aged; 13.5% alc. not noticeable; fantastic acidity; better than the '98 Bien Nacido Chard., which tastes older and not as vibrant. This is a fantastic wine that is perhaps at its peak right now, although there's really nothing to suggest that it's about to start falling apart. This and the '06 Sleepy Hollow Chardonnay were my two favorite Arcadian Chardonnays of the tasting.

Lovely yellow color, some pineapple on nose and palate, no oxidization. Lemon curd and still sharp acidity. I have 2 more bottles, and I'm looking forward to drinking them.

Easy to call this Burgundian in style, as it was oxidized! Very yellow, nutty notes, good acidity. For me, drinkable and probably good with cheese, though we were drinking, not eating. A WineBid purchase, so wishing for better luck with the other 3 bottles.

paired with Seared Diver Scallops in Pineapple Beure Blanc with Creamy Parmessan Risotto and Roasted Asparagus)- Golden Color, nice minerality, strong-balanced acidity, oak integrated nicely coming slowly in and out, Buttered Popcorn, hazelnut puree, lemon cream pie, nectarine stone fruit essence, drank over 3 hours. Peaked but still swinging.
