Ready right from the start with plenty of juicy/sweet fruit upfront. Well structured with fine tannins and a nice amount of acid. Full bodied but still fresh. Likely better in 2-3 years but why wait.

Double-decanted back into the bottle before drinking. Herbs and flowers and leather and hints of tobacco on the nose, very compelling. Palate is still a bit closed but even now is showing underripe plums and cherries with a bit of meaty umami and leather. Tannins are still a bit overpowering but the acidity and minerality is there and in another two or three years I think this wine is going to be off the hook. Very good now, will definitely get better with age.

Very nice. Still good acidity. Slight menthol. Berries. Hard not to like. Maybe 2-3 years more adds to integration.
