Last stop on our fourth day in Napa Valley is Caldwell Vineyards in Coombsville. Seventh wine is their Rocket Science Blend, which is made up of 35% Cabernet Sauvignon, 23% Syrah, 16% Pinot Noir, 10% Cabernet Franc, 9% Tannat and 7% Malbec from the Caldwell Estate Vineyard in Coombsville. We drank this along with a 2018 for comparison. 2015 much more rounded (as expected). Nice integration of berries. Round on the palate. Excellent.
