60/40 Cab/Syrah. Nose of fruit and threads of earth. Opens up nicely on the palette to notes of blueberry, a kiss of smoked pepper, toffee buttered wheat toast and lifted soil. Pleasant from start to finish. And of course, the pedigree and legacy stamped on this easy drinker. A solid and versatile dinner wine or table wine especially on a cooler summer evening. Drink now through 2021. Score 90/100.
