Needs at least 3 hours on a decanter. After that , enjoy with any pasta dish, especially with bolognese. Red cherries and crushed rocks. Tight tannins and a bit too acidic for me. Great with food, but still needs time in the bottle.

Tasted at Halpern Grand Cru; wouldn’t have guessed this was Brunello - too fruity and easy drinking

Great Italian Brunello di Montalcino. Love this vino but it needs more time in the bottle, then in a decanter for 2-3 hours.
