Bottle bought in Jura close by Rotalier. Wine is still young and vibrant. Not at all evolved compared to the Chamois du paradis opened a few days before. A bit of spruce on the nose. Palate is very zesty, with a bit of apples. Good length. Solid wine but hold to this for another 2-3 years+

Ganevat at Chedi: Wow an incredibly expressive floral nose with melon and orchard fruit from the get-go. Bracing acidity but with such generous fruit on the palate that gave it good balance. It was a ringer for a Burgundy at first, but as it warmed up in the glass its Jura nature began to show. Loved the mixture of tension and exuberance here. Tough to decide between this and the Marnes Bleues, this was more immediate and pleasurable but didn’t quite have the same depth or length of finish. Liked it a lot nevertheless.

Quite a strange wine for me, a bit 'petillant' which seems normal for natural wine. I am not the biggest fan of this type of flavor but must admit it is a great wine; left in the glass overnight and in the morning it was still showing the same flavors...! On a critical note, I would expect it to develop more / show other flavors while in the glass.

Completely classic ganevat. Quite clean and serious. Minimal notes and wish I’d have spent more time focusing on this one

Perfect combo of natural and traditional. Give it a bit of air and it will sing
