The wine was fine but unremarkable. Some tannin and body but no flavors really came forward while drinking. To accompany a meal it was alright, but I'd look elsewhere to enjoy a wine.

A: Very pale ruby with garnet rim N: Red cherry, redcurrant, dried herbs earth , almond P: Dry, high acid, medium alcohol, medium body, medium (+) tannin intensity and medium finish C: Good Quality wine but lacking in length and complexity
Guesses: No VA on the nose or palate for me but was obviously not a Bordeaux. It was all red fruit and lighter in body. I brought it but didn't know where it was in the lineup. However, it seemed obvious that this was a Sangiovese based wine. Didn't have the extra savoury elements or length of brunello or Chianti Classicos for me but easily said after the fact...right?!?

5/4/2019 - Booth_80 Likes this wine:
Powerful nose.
Drunk over 2.5hrs initially closed and very back of palate.
Opened up revealing stewed plums, cherries/currants, raspberries, hints of cocoa and tobacco leaf.
Rich style of Chianti
Powdery tannins perhaps need some more time to integrate and soften.
