I thought this note from the wine maker accurately described this wine: “The nose … wet slate, black raspberry, pipe tobacco and a hint of anise. The palate [has] juicy acidity,… red and black fruit, exotic spices and slate minerality… best from 2020 to 2032. Alcohol: 13.8% Ph: 3.33 Production: 150 Cases”

Decanted >1 hour. Bright red juice with floral and vanilla nose. Subtle juice that packs a punch with a long finish. Drinking very nicely right now.

Pop and pour. This is ready to go with a lively, slightly tart palate of red fruit, earth, almond, and a touch of coconut. I always enjoy Mo's wines.
