Light yellow color. Reticent on nose with yellow apple, lemon and a slight damp fresh white mushroom. Dry, rounded acidity, palate follows through with minerality and oily and creamy finish. Medium body. Very good balance. Medium long finish.

this was a very nice Meursault, young and therefore not fat at all... beautiful acidity / lift... lemony all the way, decanted about two hours, then it did have - briefly - a tiny chemically after taste (I noticed, my guest couldn't taste it however)... then after another 30 mins or so that went away... beautiful and great QPR

Skurnik tasting in SD. Absolutely fantastic stuff, with nearly as much power as the Poruzots, but more detail and length. Stone, lemon, apple, pine, and white flowers are beautifully articulated and deep. Tactile and a bit tannic at present on the finish. I have never spent 3 figures on a white wine.... but I'm thinkin' about it.

Tasted at Skurnik Grand Portfolio Tasting in NYC. 40+ year old vines. Wine made in the same manner as the other Meursault's from this producer. I thought this wine was superbly balanced with medium high acidity, great minerality and nice varied citrus fruit. Very stoney and long on the finish. Worth the price?? at around $110 in the US I'm not sure??
