Another example of wine that is alive Open 2 hours before dinner. Initial taste has me wondering if the bottle is flawed. Decant and 2 hours later HRH says it passes quality control. we have blackberries and currant with the slightest bit of graphite on the attack with a solid finish of anise.

Good. 88 pts on open. 90 2nd night. Sean sullivan: 45% Merlot, 25% Cab Franc, 23% Cab Sauv, 7% PVerdot. Fresh herb, dark-raspberry, licorice and black-cherry aromas followed by extremely well-balanced, reserved but still sumptuous fruit flavors. Firm structured tannins back it up. It's a (very) serious wine to find at this price and augurs well for the winery's 2017 wines to come. Give a 24-hr decant if drinking in the near term or some years in the cellar. Got lots of red mtn mineral to boot.

Still young on opening. Better on Day 2

Very good. Interesting nose, quality red mtn depth on palate, some complexity in blend.

Dark fruits, floral and minerals on nose. Red and black fruits, earth, light spice with bright acid and medium tannins. Coda always an excellent QPR
