  • 100% Pinot Noir, no dosage and disgorged in January 2021.

The color on this one has a real peach/salmon tint to it! Really beautiful.

On the nose, the very first thing is something usually not found in Champagne for me; peach and apricot! It's joined by orange, lemon, kind of a red berry touch, red apple and a lovely depth with crackers, butter and some oxidative/earthy touch.

Palate was first really rich and creamy from the peach, apricot, red apple, biscuit/butter and the oxidative style, but there's also so much freshness and acidity from fresh orange, citrus zest, unripe stone fruits and a really sexy chalky minerality. This is really balanced so stunningly and with the ~3 years of bottle age, it's drinking absolutely perfect in my opinion.

  • Drank while grilling so no detailed notes, but this is plush and vinous and absolutely delicious. Can't wait to see how it ages further

  • October 2020 disgorgement. 100% Pinot noir, no dosage from biodynamic farming. We let the cool temp wear off on this and shared some glasses. This seems very approachable to me, with some soft apple, cherry, a savory kind of orange like a kumquat and a touch of graham cracker. This has moderate complexity but isn't dialed up with energy as some of the other past iterations of Fidele. I'll drink this vintage sooner than later.

  • Jan 21 disgorgement. Perfectly nice pn champagne, although not particularly memorable and increasingly at a price where you hope for a bit more.

  • Good champagne. Not very expressive nose but a very nice and tasty palate. Long finish.
