Popped and poured making dinner. Still drinking well after 15 years. Fruity notes a little faded but secondary flavors backfilling nicely. Good job Adam!

Opened and poured on a rare night w/o the kids. Very dark. Cork clean as yesterday. Notes of humid ethanol, dark oak, blacks and blues. ON the palate, full bodied, black cherry, some tartness, sweet blues and blacks. Not too secondary yet, but in a good place....has many years left. Not tired, just hitting the peak. I suspect this will drink well for another 10 years.

39th Annual Zinfandel Retrospective - the 2012s (R&D's): Popped and poured with dinner following the tasting. Actually similar to the zins with notes of raspberry, cherry and pepper. Flavors of sour raspberry and spice, becoming less sour as it sits.

4th Saturday Group brown bagger (R&D's): Nice fruit in the bouquet, along with spice, tar and burnt rubber notes. Thin and rubbery on the palate at first, but dark fruit and spice qualities come on as it sits. Guessed Syrah.
Again, compared to when it was first opened and double decanted off its sediment, this was disappointing. It had been open two hours prior so here again, pop & pour is recommended.

Still holding its own. I purchased this wine from the winery and other than the dark color where the wine was in contact, the cork looked like it was bottled last week. Showing some hints of sweetness.
