  I found this bottle in the depths of my cellar and was very concerned about whether or not I had waited to long to drink after reading some of the other ratings. My concerns were further escalated when my cork screw pulled out thru the middle of the cork. So i had to push the rest of cork into the bottle and decant to drink. I was pleasently suprised by the performance of the wine. The tannins had definitely softened and the fruit was starting to wane but the wine seemed very well balanced still and really reminded me of drinking an older CDP from the Rhone region. Light Ruby in color, medium bodied, red fruit on nose and palate, drank with a dry aged bone in ribeye.

  I was amazed at how well this has aged. Garnet, starting to cloud a little. Medium body, black cherry and other dark fruits. A little tar, beef, cassis and tobacco. Nicely extracted. Very mild tannins with a nice mouthfeel. Medium finish that is falling a little short but not noticeable so. What it has lost in its "plushness"t has gained in finesse. While I don't know if it will go much longer, it would be fun to find out. Unfortunately this was my last bottle. Nice wine that went very well with a simple meal of grass fed beef burgers.

  This bottle held up quite well. Full flavors of blackberry and mocha. Not much complexity, but nice satisfying finish.

  The earlier reviews had the right idea; still medium red color; cassis, tar and just a tad of berry; very quick on the finish; this wine was not built to age and it has a lost a bit of the fruit flavors noticed a few years ago; still pleasant enough and a good food wine, but I would drink up
