I served this to people blind and they said things like "cinnamon apple sauce" & "lemon pie". This isn't something that I would serve my friends normally but did I have to host something corporate or a retreat on the cheap and get a lot of bubbles for $12 a bottle this is probably what I would get.

The Second Annual Blind Tasting of American Sparkling Wine: Retail $16. 65% Pinot Noir, 35% Chardonnay. Golden with caramel, apricot and yeastiness. Yum. Close to a whoa on the palate: good fruit, tartness, finish. Lovely. Excellent. 91-93 Points.

Aperitif: Best Korbel for me. Very dry, tiny, active bubbles, caramel smooth balanced fruit, tart only at finish. Toasty.
