Quite smooth after a couple years in the Cellar. Light tingly tannins and warmth in the throat. Strawberry, blackcurrant and vanilla, maybe a little chocolate.

This wine just improves with age. Opened a 2017 Coyote Bowl Syrah tonight and happy I did. I normally prefer blends because winemakers can create layered flavours that single vintages often lack. Not the case with this Syrah. Pepper. Red fruit. Graphite. Just yummy in a glass.

Super easy Syrah to enjoy. Red fruit. Oak (just the right amount). A solid Okanagan vineyard that I’m proud to support.

Accessible, very pretty, fragrant & floral Syrah here…ripe yet fresh, developing slowly but still awash with intense black fruit.
The palate is beautifully pitched & balanced, with fine, lightly grippy tannins, ripe, - you know, the kind that will wholly melt in time.
Acids provide some framework & tighten up the palate, also helping to contain generous alcohol.
Elegant, composed, stately. No rush here, folks.
