Billed as a Cab Sauv/Sangiovese blend, picked up for $12 per at the corner liquor store for a “house” red. Super approachable, easy drinker. Cab is a little more dominant overall, darker fruit, a bit of dark chocolate but the Sangiovese pops with some bright cherry, acid is in balance and tannins are soft, yet still grippy at the finish. Not bad qpr.

Inexpensive 5L bought at Costco. Took a long time to open up but was very restrained through 3 days of drinking.
