Several years later than its presumed peak, cork disintegrated so wound up straining through cheesecloth into the decanter. Thoroughly mellowed and rounded off, all the deep fruit melded together. Slight oxidative notes, but mostly just a pleasurable experience.

Aged Bing cherry rocket fuel. Fruit still very much alive. Powerhouse. Totally delightful. Stored perfectly since purchased from the winery. Love it.

A bit light for a Syrah, though that is likely the effect of 20+ years. Nice and inoffensive with modest to light fruit. Drink up.

WoW. Still drinking extremely well. Dark fruits, earthy under notes. Florals on the nose. Balanced, smooth mouth feel, long finish.
