Alsace and S&D: Blind White 7 - Moderate petrol on the nose. Light, lemony. At first I called this decent, then retasted it and hated it….must be palate fatigue.

This had an attractive aroma and very pleasant initial taste. Then it went completely blank followed by a short, slightly spicy finish. My wife was amazed at her reaction to it and was pleased that I tasted it the same way. It was a pleasant enough wine and went nicely with the seared scallops with a caper beurre blanc. But, I expected more for $22.

Light yellow/gold, aromas of rich honeyed fruit, apple, melon, citrus, soft minerals, b4, a3, thick & somewhat dry, very nice satiny texture, firm acidity, bit of heat evident, tasty
