Aroma: cocoa Palate: nutmeg, bramble berries, cocoa, pronounced alcohol, bitter finish. Left it sitting out with a cork in it and after 3 days I liked it more - less alcohol. After a week, it was not as good.

Perfectly decent dessert wine. Although most of m experience with dessert wines is with white wines, this was pretty accessible. Not too sweet with enough acid to balance whatever sharpness was present. Not a big fancy dessert wine, but certainly respectable. I have no idea if more aging would change the flavors.

Like drinking liquid blueberry pie filling with an alcoholic kick. Strangely, this was not overtly offensive to me (at least it didn't conjure up bad memories of choking down children's cough syrup).

Color like cherry brandy - quite red with a little garnet. Gregarious tangerine, lime, "fresh rain on dry earth" aromas. Caramel, cherry, orange, and lime notes in a 2 / 4 sweetness level. Could call it a lower alcohol brandy? Certainly great with cake desserts or a cigar, not as alluring on it's own. respectable finish with the fruit lasting almost as long as the heat. (5+12+14+6) = 87
