  • Decanted for 1h, back to bottle in cellar for 2h then fridge overnight.

This is really really nice. Nose seems quiet at this stage but can get some yellow pear and white florals. Palate is a totally different story. Medium body, excellent mouthfeel, zippy acidity. Lemon meringue, pears, hint of almonds, lime zest. Finish is long with plenty of minerality and citrus fruit.

I have generally liked Goodfellow chards though this is clearly a step up. You could slip this into a blind tasting of high end chard and it would do well.

As delicious as this is to drink now, I’d hold for another 5-8 years.

  • This is the real deal. Decanted 2 hrs. Wonderful balance between minerality and subtle fruit, and great texture. It kept going strong for 5 hours, suggesting a long balanced life ahead. One of the best Oregon chards I have had, and it might get better over time.

  • Struck match, white flowers, lemon-lime, med body, long finish, spectacular QPR

  • With Megan and Marcus

A fresh and fleeting citrus more than orchard fruit driven nose, with jasmine, and subtle delft done wood. On the palate this embodies the idea of intensity without weight. Deep and structured yet gossamer with a terrific degree of clarity. More of the same frui and florals with some lemon curd to boot. This dances on the palate. Push me over with a feather kind of delicious. Terrific

  • Needed time to open up, was a little disjointed until hour 3 or so. Has nice light fruits, elegant acidity, and underlying depth and complexity. Just didn't kick into that next gear for me. Obviously a young wine and should flesh out over time.
