This was meant to be well past it prime, but it seems to still be going strong Although should probably be drunk this year.. Any tannins have long since mellowed out, and left with mature black fruit, a little bit of smoke and leather, that extends into a good strong finish.

Tasted at Dry Creek Valley Passport weekend, it was certainly the best we drank that weekend. Then again last week, outstanding, drinking well now.
