My experience with this wine is a cautionary tale for burgundy as a whole. The first bottles had shrieking acidity. Consumed in 2012 and 2013 they were simply not very good. I removed the last bottle from my cellar to cook with and didn't use it. Placed in my liquor cabinet, at room temp, for about six months. took it out this weekend to cook. Had transformed into a light, pleasant Bourgogne. The most amazing part is that the acids had softened and I'd now call the wine fruit forward. Really quite nice. Guess I'm saying hold off a bit if in your cellar.

Very good Bourgogne for the price. Light ruby color, very pinot like on the nose and palate. Cherry, herbs and earthy notes. Elegant, refined and balanced, typical Voillot style.

A decent light Burgundy. Very easy every day drinking wine. Should probably let it open for just a little
