  Was a bit of a dissapointment for a 1999 vintage. Was ok, but had a bit of a bite - quite tannic - even after a few hours of decanting. Very odd for a 12 year old wine. Had hints of berries and minerality. Not as complex as I would have hoped for a wine of this expected quality and age.
