Not as dark as expected, rather a light to medium clear gold. Initially a bit of petrol on the nose that blew away quickly. Then, mostly a tropical nose of ripe pear, apple, pineapple, with a very reserved touch of spice and caramel. Well balanced at this age. Deteriorated somewhat quickly after opening (hours not minutes).

Again, this is a very good bottle of chardonnay... old world like with minerals and a Chablis-like crispness, mouth filling.

Mineral, stone, pear, nectarine. This still has a lot of life left to it. A little heavier than what I wanted out of an Oregon Chard.
