85% syrah, 9% grenache, and 6% Mourvèdre. 15.4% alcohol. Burgundy center with garnet rim. The nose is ripe and expressive with raspberry, cherry, plum, and a hint of barnyard. On the palate, there is excellent ripe cherry and raspberry with plum notes and cola. Structurally, the vibrant acidity matches the fruit and a tannic undertone adds strength to this medium-bodied wine. The finish is relatively long with dark raspberry and cherry. Overall, this was hedonistic and enjoyable but not terribly complex.

Very pleasant and drinking well now. Big sweet wine with some crisp undertones. Seems in good balance just now. Compares very favorably to a typical Australian GSM, but maybe a touch more refined and the qpr is pretty good. All in all, I'm happy that I had a few of these.

Nat cork. Red with plummy tones. Intriguing nose, carries a bit of heat, has herbal notes too. Palate starts sweet, fruity, even jammy but then gets very complex and deep with herbs, earth, nice structure. Really like it, even if its heft and alcohol means theres nothing subtle or shy about it.

Sweet dark fruit with some spice and moderate oak treatment. Unfortunately a bit unbalanced with too much heat to begin and end with.
