I bought this directly from the winery in at the owners recommendation. The cork had a lot of buildup but not much sediment other than that. The wine in near black. The flavour is intense and amazing. Deep, thick, berries. I was worried that it was past its prime, being 12 years old buy this is a great wine.

2007 was a warm year. One of the best for Ontario wine. Absolutely a great wine with an intensity and finish you would expect a wine probably double the price. Too bad we only have 1 bottle. Can be aged for probably another good 3-5 years.

For Ontario reds 2007 was a good year. This is not an exception to that, it has smooth silky tannins but it is very dry. The fruit of blackberry and current is up front with coffee and smoke finishing off. The finish is long and the fruit comes back.

Currant, cranberry, sweet dark fruits and smoke aromas all come nicely together on the palate, in a balanced, rich finish. Full-bodied with fine grain tannins. Delicious!

Still drinking very well, but don't let it go much longer. One of the best Niagara Bordeaux style wines ever.
