Very expressive nose, with cinnamon and other spices. This was a P'n'P, so on the palate at first lots of acidity and fruit that was, frankly, over the hill. With some time, the wine became a bit more balanced for my palate, but most thought this was not worth spending too much time with. At Chapter One.

Pleasant surprise given it's age. Brick red color. Nose of dark current, plum, cedar and a bit of spice. A bit thin on the palate but still with lingering fruit along with typically complexities of an aged wine. Lingering though slightly short finish.

Nose - white floral note with a smooth moderate tobacco and black currant character. Hint of cherry and oak spice. With time some limoncello and kirsh. lemon/black plum/black currant, watery-refreshing, cedar. Soft mid-palate, peppery on the fringe. A bit of bitter black olive on the finish.

Red fruited nose with some spice and a big eucalyptus kick. Round fruit with still present juicy acidity. Simpler and a bit compact.
