At times this had a touch of excess VA but when it didn't, this was a nice fully developed and mature Pinot. Earthy, fruity, and complex. Hit all the right notes.

Too much cedar oak...very alcoholic on the palate. The 96 I had was much better. Very off and disintegrated bottle.
