Brought to a tasting - old world red wines. Opened a couple hours before to make sure it was sound and possibly decant. It was a bit barnyardy in the little taste I poured, but it blew off pretty quick; so I decided not to decant.
2 hours later it showed way more structured at the tasting. Dried strawberry, leather, tobacco, tons of cherry dried and candied, red and black plum and chocolate.
Medium + to high acid, medium + tannin, medium + alcohol. Body shows a little lighter. Many put this in the triangle of Sangiovese, Tempranillo and Bordeaux with the leather and plum.
It shows super youthful. Could’ve decanted pretty aggressively. Happy to have 2 more of these.

Drinking incredibly well right now. No signs of age. Needed about 30 minutes to start opening up. Rose, strawberry, light mushroom and baking spices. Really good wine, and matched perfectly with a ribeye steak.

Drinking so well. Still relatively young, with firm structure that's just starting to soften. Deep, burnished red fruit, sour cream, clove, and minerals on the finish. Elegant and very satisfying. Went great with filets, marble potatoes, and chard. Decanted for an hour or so, and probably could have benefited from even longer.

This is still so fresh and vibrant. Not really showing any signs of it's age aside from slight bricking on the rim.
Lots of sour cherry, medium to med + tannin, medium + acidity. This has quite a bit of time left.
