Light gold now, with some green notes. Expressive nose of ripe apple and gentle autumn spice. Quite textural in the mouth. Good length, re-introducing a little spice. But - as is often the case with Riesling - I find it lacks some complexity in flavor profile. I just get various apple flavors. Not the most pronounced acidity - one senses the warmth of the year. Needs food. Developing well.

Dry German Riesling Tasting (Reno, NV): smelled off the first night, very muddled, oxidized. i couldn’t place it at all. we left this till the next day when it was much, much better. deeper in color, 5-10 years? on the nose honeyed lime and stone fruits with a yeasty natural wine aroma, lot of chalky stone aromas. dry, acids integrating, quite phenolic and structured. balance +1/2 length ++ intensity ++1/2 complexity ++

Opened up from a nose almost completely dominated by notes of sponataneous fermentation to a more spicy mineral style. Airy and sort of fleeting structure which appeared lighter than the 13.5 % would indicate. Very good.

Mosel Saar Ruwer Riesling night: (8,50%) Beautiful nose, high notes of lime, green apples and apricot. The body is med/med+, fine structure, ultra-ripe peach, apricot, great length
