Lucky enough to have found a few different Ashan chards over the past couple of months. Theirs is the only all-Chardonnay brand on my radar, and their focus appears to be paying off, as the QPRs here are terrific.
This bottling is all about balance -- lemon, apple, pear, hazelnut, piecrust, vanilla ice cream. Finish reverberates tirelessly, and on all ends of the spectrum. 92 with upside. Delicious, and good value here at $40.

Neutral oak
Lovely lemon and light toast nose
Smooth, slight creaminess on palate. Biscuit and melon, long lemon finish. Acidity is enough to keep this extremely appealing
