We enjoyed a $14 glass after the opera, outside in Harmonie Park. On the nose it's very clean and inviting- on the palate, even better. It drank larger than a Pinot. Not one bit of any rough edge, almost refined even... No tannin bite, no distracting competing flavors, just smooth, effortless enjoyment of the juice. Sophisticated even. Seems like it'll go down for a few years and yet improve. We may have to 'migrate' over to our local shop to grab a few for our cellar...
Ed. We hit another tasting last week (11/2) and collected three bottles for the cellar. Probably should have grabbed a case. From the previous vintage notes, looks like we'll start to crack these in 2019. Great expectations!

This is a beautiful wine with a rare finesse. The nose is sweet and floral, reminiscent of orange blossom honey. The body is a touch heavier than average Pinot Noir, with cherry and strawberry. Silky vanilla tannins smooth the entire experience, lingering on and on, then eventually fading away into subtle nutmeg and cinnamon carried by cool minerality.

The Fleming's 100 50/50 Tasting Event, nose of red fruit, plum, earth, and pepper, same on the palate, medium/big body, very rich fruit to taste, richest of the Pinot Noir group present today, complex, good acid, delicious, 2 years to peak, good value, long, long finish, in my top 2 today.

Nice go-to Pinot. Red fruit flavors with a nice touch of French oak to follow.
