Last stop on our fifth day in Napa Valley is Ashes and Diamonds located just south of Oak Knoll on St. Helena Highway. The last wine we will taste is their Rancho Pequeno bottling made by Dan Petroski.
Medium to deep purplish ruby red. Dark spices on the nose freshened up by raspberries. Medium tannins (6.5/10) with great structure and a medium body. Fresh palate with cinnamon, nutmeg and some blackberries. Long finish. Definitely a lighter styled red wine than we are use to from Dan. Drink till 2030.

Delicious. Will disagree with AG on this one as I thought there was nice depth to this. Great cab notes, fresh, balanced.

Great Napa Cab. Great now but will be even better time. Cassis Blackberry, blueberry, graphite and chocolate. Sexy wine.
