  • Another year in bottle has helped this wine evolve a bit more. Medium translucent ruby color. Nose of tart cranberry, cherry, some earthy, green veggies and black pepper. Similar flavors on the palate with a delicious mix of tart, juicy red fruits and savory earthy notes. Medium+ acid, medium tannin. Enjoyable to sip on its own but would be a versatile wine to pair with food. One of the best traditional cabernet francs coming from Cali.

  • Popped and poured. Tight at first but after about 1.5 hours of being open showed some very nice tart red fruits with cranberry, pomegranate, cherry, a bit of fresh earth and slight pyrazine notes. Similar flavors on the palate with a slightly peppery finish. Medium+ acid, medium tannin and medium- body. Very versatile food wine but enjoyable on its own. Very nice.

  • PnP, tasted over three nights. It has the right cab franc notes, but it's a bit flat. Poor QPR. 12%
