Really loving Gauditiabois. This E2 from magnum had a touch more caramel and oxidative notes than the younger E3 tried earlier, but still was quite fresh.

Still drinking well. Lovely depth and complexity. This time I get some seafood and dill on the nose. Perhaps not as much energy as on release but not tired. See also previous notes.

This bottle shows a bit younger and firmer than the previous two I've had. Not that age should matter since this is a recent release, so I imagine there is some bottle variation. More acidic and energetic, this still has those ripe apples and that big body. Very good.

From the 2017 vintage, 50% Pinot Noir, 25% Pinot Meunier and 25% Chardonnay, disgorged 13 October 2020 with a dosage of 3.5 gr/l, 1275 bottled produced. Bright and fresh but rich, yeasty and intense, spicy depth, candied apple, palpable chalk, ripe citrus, zesty energy, very good resonance and length. At Bar du Champagne, Amsterdam, NL.
