Gorgeous color, thick unctuous texture. First poured very bright, not much evolution. Apricots, rich stone fuit, an interesting licorice note on the finish. After about 10 minutes in the glass, the flavors darkened in tone somewhat, candied yams coming out and the apricots more baked. Wonderful and still young.

A quarter bottle was left in my fridge from a dinner a month ago and when I reopened tonight it was clearly still improving. I can't think of many wines that improve weeks after being opened.
This has the density, balance, length, persistence of flavor, and complexity that I have only experienced in the best vintages of sauternes. In fact this shows much more tropical than other TBA Krachers that I've had the pleasure of drinking. I got intense pineapple, lychee fruit, dried apricot, baked pear, and sweet butterscotch custard aromas and tastes. The density and molasses-like viscosity makes for a long finish of seemingly endless flavor depth.
This wine is amazing and will probably last forever.

fabulous gold-bronze color (appeared darker in ambient screen porch light); exotic honeyed spice market nose; rich elixir of peach syrup, lychee & bruleed mango, green almonds, good acidity, on point touch of bitter on the finish is captivating. (some tartrate crystals have precipitated.)

Nose classic Sauternes with palate pure gulab jamun. Had SBS with Chateau Laville 2019. Nose might be indistinguishable (if that’s a word).

Exceptional as always. Sexy honey apricot in shades. No where near peak yet.
