  • Brought this to Chin Lee Restaurant for a meeting with The ETCeteras.

Fresh, lively and fragrant (white elderflowers), the structure is holding well but the wine is perhaps past its peak. Notes of Japanese pear, cream, toast, pineapples and peaches.

Drinking well now but the past few bottles were better than this one. Could be due to bottle variation, pairing of the food or the fact that the wine is one its way down.

  • Drank this at home over pizza with my spouse and kids.

Golden yellow in colour with am attractive glow in the glass. Wine is very well paired with the food. On the nose, the wine was rounded with some ripe pineapples, burst of vanilla, grapefruit, lime, red apples, butter and cream.

The finish is long and lingering. On the whole, the wine is on the lean side with a touch of fat. This is a very food friendly wine, especially when paired with fried or baked food items.

  • Drank this at Swatou Seafood Restaurant today over lunch with Dim Sum.

Rich, full bodied and refreshing. A little overpowering on the dim sum we had. Buttery with rip citrus fruits (apricot, peach, tangerines and grapefruit). Probably well oaked in new oak barrels giving it flavours of vanilla, toast and toffee.

  • Drank this at Ah Yat Seafood Restaurant (Turf City) over lunch to celebrate a birthday.

Sharp, focused and lean. Grapefruits, lemon and some vanilla were present. Lacks complexity with a short finish.

    A very food friendly wine.
