Plum, black fruits, a hint of red fruit, spice, and earth notes. Not possessing the typical forest floor funk I find with many PGC Pinots. Medium weight body with a smooth glycerin texture. Nice complexity. Tasted over 3 hours.

Nose shoes Pinot funk, slight barnyard, with a little of "grandpa's shoeshine kit". Savory. Palate shows red and black cherry fruit but definitely tilting towards the savory end of things. Coompetely coonsistent across the palate from start to finish - Nino dips or anything sticking out. Mid weight silky almost glycerine mouthfeel. Turns juicy an mouthwatering towards the end with just a tiny hint of bitterness. Not fading at all. Drink or hold.

This was great. Opened and first had some significant earty, wet pine needle, funky tones. Not negative, but was significantly earth-driven. After some air the fruit came into form--fresh & dried cherries especially. Silky at all stages & probably best after a couple hours of bottle air. I'd bet good for a few more years.

Showed even better than the last bottle from a few weeks back. Good depth and balance, interesting flavors, fairly light style which works for me. Really nice orange peel thing going on here (also cited in CMNs recent note) that gives a slight bitter note.
