Very nice. In balance. Dark fruited, full palate. Nice nose, lovely mouthfeel with savory notes and some forest to go with the dark fruit. Clean finish. I don't see this gaining much with further age, in a good place now.

Drinking beautifully and no doubt, at it's peak. Rich and ripe, with good structure and nice balance. Slightly earthy (in a good way) with dark fruits and a silky, lean texture. Sadly, my last bottle.

Earthy black cherry and forest floor notes on the nose. Medium bodied (13.5% ABV) with black cherry upfront, exhibiting a blend of high toned brightness and deeper, more savory notes. Mid-body shows very good density, but in a silky and balanced fashion. Tart black cherry and blackberry towards the back along with an integrated tannin-based structure. Minerals, spice notes and some dryness on the finish. Took nearly four hours to come together. When first opened, it showed as overly acidic, with a lot of the mid-body notes concealed. But with time, it integrated impressively. Shows the earthy/forest floor and dark fruit notes that make this site special. At peak, but should be able to hold this level for at least another 1-2 years. I wouldn't push it as given the time open, this drinks quite well at present with no additional benefit to extra cellar time.

This pinot is drinking beautifully right now. Full bodied across the palate just like we expect from St Innocent
