On opening, deep purple color, fruity, berry nose, not a very rich cab. Basic dinner drinking wine. We let 1/2 bottle sit for 24 hrs in the bottle (has a twist off cap). Much better on day two, nose was slightly richer in flavor and had a stronger cab taste. Give it some initial air and let sit a day.

A traditional QPR gold mine. I liked it, but I didn’t love it. Spicy cassis nose, some subtle green herbs. Smooth, balanced and medium bodied palate – cassis, dark plums, subtle tannin. Best enjoyed now-ish.

This is a perfectly adequate midweek drinker especially at $12. Lots of berries and slight vanilla in the finish.

Good for the money. Combines slightly minty Cab with some sweetness.
