Another great bottle. Medium gold color. Fresh, balanced with flavors of nut skin, petrol, honeysuckle, beeswax and pear. If you are familiar with Tondonia Reserva Blancos this will not taste the same. This has less of the skin contact flavor and feels fresher. Perhaps some of this is age difference but it does seem qualitatively different. Very good with or without food. I expect this will age well but it drinks so well right now.

90% Viura, 10% Garnacha Blanca. Destemmed and transferred to a stainless steel, where several hours of skin contact took place. Fermentation took about 20 days. 50% aged in stainless steel and 50% to new oak barrels of various sizes for 10 months. Total acidity 6.2g/l, 13.5% vol.
Decanted for 90 minutes and poured back to the bottle an hour before dinner. On the nose pear, stone fruit, a hint of lemon and a suggestion of oxidative notes that give some complexity. On the palate creamy and mouth filling, medium acidity and long finish.
Did develop well within the last two years and has still many years ahead, if drinking now a long decant is recommended.

Definite development from last time. Much more honeyed nose with bees wax and orange blossom in nose. Honey on finish. I would drink up this year or next.

Impressive from nose to finish. Paired nicely with ricotta and spinach manicotti.

Baked pear and floral nose, flavors show peach, white flower, lemon and molasses. I like it.
