Big nose and a lot of wine for the price. It evolved over the evening, featuring jalapeno infused queso dip by night's end. Lots of acid and grip. Weird and interesting. Much butter than the 82 CT average at the time of this note.

Very purple to the edge. Restrained nose of raspberries, blackberries, and earth. Tart cranberries, a definite stemmy greenness, woody tannins, barely noticeable alcohol, and a medium finish. Not very fruity for a new world wine. I'm not hating on this like some others. Worth the price ($10), but I'm not seeking it out again. A couple of days later, vacu-vined. The fruit has gone away, but the green stems remained. Ugh. 79

Simple and hot with a good swirl. Inky red color. Woody and little fruit taste. An interesting addition to an everyday drinker collection. Worth the money, but not more.

good color. Nice raspberry nose, but the CF greeness is there (like cooking green peas) under the fruit. In the wine as well -- tart raspberry over cranberry and green bean accents, moderate tannins; black raspberry and a strong 'green stem' component on the surpringly moderate length. I wouldn't like this wine on its own.
