Burgundy color with a muted bouquet and even less flavor with some raspberry and Burgundy spiciness. Not much body or depth with a fairly short finish. The first bottle tasted was much better. Flowers Pinot Noir can be good, if not great, and often reminds me of many Burgundy reds, with too little of everything, except hype. What a pity when it is in a wine region that can produce very expressive Pinot Noir.

Burgundy color with a bouquet and flavor of raspberries, with moderate Pinot Noir spiciness in the finish. Very much a Flowers' wine, less expansive than a Martinelli, Marcassin, or Aubert, perhaps like adding rice to gumbo. Good balance with some nuance, and a fairly long finish. I drank this wine just before Christmas (with gumbo) A fellow Cellar Tracker taster drank it at Compere Lapin (Brother Rabbit), a New Orleans restaurant, in July. My family ate there on Christmas eve and had a wonderful meal, including crispy pig ears. So if someone should ever ask you what to drink with pig ears, say "try a Flower's Pinot Noir."

Similar to our last note; holding very, and maybe gaining some complexity over three nights.
