Drinks more like a desert wine as some have noted. Almost as sweet as a desert wine but just short of it. Golden color and some age may be contributing to the character. Lacks acidity, which makes it a bit flat. Long finish and Not bad with curry chicken.

Great color, nice bouquet; complex with a long finish that really takes the wine to another level; sweet but I think with plenty of acid to balance it; drank with pork chops; could be a dessert wine; would drink again; it reminded us again of how good German wines can be.

From an aromatic and flavor perspective, this wine is great. Nose of white florals, honeysuckle, baked pear, citrus and a hint of candied lemon. Very tropical and sweet stone fruit flavors on the palate. This wine falls short for me in the acidity department which is really what these sweet rieslings need. The wine just felt a bit flat and cloying on the palate both with and without food. Some people would probably flip for this wine based on the aromas and flavors but it is lacking acidity.

Lower acid and took a long time after opening to become somewhat harmonious.

Gold straw color. Nose of botrytis-tinged peach and lime. Medium bodied and plenty sweet, wanting a bit more acid. Medium finish.
